Very comfortable and beautiful location. Much time was spent on the spacious patio enjoying the sights and sounds when not walking on the extensive beach or playing in the crystal clear waves. Walter was very accessible, answering emails almost instantly. The directions he provided from Panama City were very appreciated (not to mention very essential). Uverito is a quiet beach town, exactly what we were looking for. Panamanians, expats, and international travellers alike were all friendly and helpful. Hope to return sooner rather than later. We are very very happy to be enjoying your lovely "casa blanca" as it seems to be called here by the locals. We are getting more at home by finding ways of hanging up clothes and washing, and cleaning to our standards. So we are not "living out of suitcases" for 6 weeks. I am cooking on the nice gas stove, and the refrigerator is stuffed with cleaned washed produce and fresh fillet fish from Port Mensbe - all nicely wrapped up in foil with bones removed.  Aloha, Antoinette (HAWAII)

I liked it here in Uverito beach! The house was sufficient and comfortable Walter, the owner provided everything needed for your stay and was a pleasure to communicate with. There are several local restaurants within walking distance that serve the daily "catch" of the day and are very affordable. The beach, which is right across from the house, was very nice and only crowded on the week-ends. Los Tables is the nearest city for supplies and only a short ride away. I would return here and will recommend it to those who are not looking for the standard "hotel/motel" senerio. It was a pleasure to stay here! Imagine waking up to the sound of the Pacific Ocean only a few steps from your front door! Envision miles of beach without another person in sight. That's what you get with the Uverito Beach House near Las Tablas, Panama. My wife and I stayed two weeks in the beach house and used it as a base from which to explore the Azuero Peninsula. The house has everything you need to enjoy the peace and tranquility it offers. It sleeps up to four people with air conditioning in each bedroom. In addition, a full kitchen is available with fridge, stove, and all the dishes and utensils you will need. I went fishing only about 100 yards away and caught a nice big red snapper, which I cooked in the kitchen. There's a television, dvd player, and high speed internet in the beach house. Walter is the perfect host, and he does everything he can to make sure the stay is a pleasant one. If you are planning to visit Panama, the beach house is a must do!  Daniel and Gwen (CALIFORNIA)

The house is great, just what we expected.  The beach has been very quiet with only a few visitors this weekend.  We are doing fine.  We shopped on Wednesday and came over Thursday.  The traffic is actually quite light.  We have gone to Las Tablas the last three days and have been able to park within four blocks of the church square.  We just skirt around the main roads and park by Super Carne.  So far so good.  Thanks again.  Dan and Paddi (WASHINGTON)

We have almost reached the end of our stay in your house.  It has been comfortable and we will leave the house as clean as we found it.  The little Kuna Silverio has been helping us to dispose of the garbage. Yes. Got in around 5pm. I guess I'm a spoiled American cause I sure don't like relying on bus transportation. Lucas at Hotel La Luna knew this house and helped us and the taxi driver find it.  Juan was here and everything worked out fine.  Francisco the taxi driver is sure nice and has gone above and beyond to assist us.  Now for a strong iced coffee. A hammock, and a book.  Then to Lucas' for mahi mahi for dinner. I'm a happy camper:) Leiloni (HAWAII)

We are very pleased with the house.  We are spending a very good time here and around here.  We explore.  The peninsula is beautiful.  You have a very nice country.  The house is comfortable.  We take great  care of it.  We ate at Donde Chinto's last night and we liked this restaurant very much.  We are very happy with our stay in your lovely home and so nice region.  I wish I could speak spanish to communicate easily with people.  Juan and Gladicia are very nice and also the other people we met.  When we return to Quebec, rest assured that we will send you our best photos of the region.  For us, if possible, we will come back to your home with happiness and without any hesitation.  Thank you for all.  Sylvie (CANADA)

This was a good place to get away from the action, although some locals do show up on the weekend. House. Has everything needed to hang out and relax. Nothing but the sound of waves on the beach at night. The red van to Las Tablas is $1.25 per person or a taxi is $7. Don't expect to catch a cab in Uverito though you will have to call them. I rated 4 stars because it was overall a great experience but I don't want to give the impression that this is a 5 star accommodation. For the price it is great. Ron (IOWA)

I had a great stay at the Uverito beachhouse, I followed directions and found the house quite easily, despite never having been in the area before. It was fully stocked with all the conforts of home (better in some cases) with wifi internet, air conditioning, washing machine, hot water, full kitchen, etc. The setting is lovely, and relaxing with a cold beer in the hammocks out on the deck with the view of the ocean and the setting sun was truly memorable. Having a secure place to park my truck was also a weight off my mind. The beach is a little rocky in the water directly in front of the house, but lovely and sandy just 100 meters to the right. The surf was very calm while I was there. I look forward to staying in this house again, if it is available, but for longer next time.  Dan (PANAMA)

We landed at the Uverito Beach House with only our clothes and a tooth brush and everything we needed was available. This house is a charmer with a beautiful ocean view and a wonderful gated yard great for children and pets to play. Very safe area and very nice locals. Great restaurants within walking distance, A perfect get-away location. Work from the house or relax..We definitely plan on staying at Uverito Beach House again soon!

Uverito Beach House has it all! All you need is your toothbrush and a bathing suit! The full kitchen was great but it was just as easy to walk across the street for a amazing dinner for under $10. We loved the hammocks and the almost totally private beach! Some of the nice touches to this house are the nice fluffy towels, soft sheets and a big tub (not often found in Panama rentals). We spent most of our time on the huge wrap around porch listening to the waves. On the weekends you do see more local traffic and activity but it is very slow during the week. An occasional power outage (no more than 30 min) when a big storm comes through but that is typical throughout Panama. Flash lights and batteries are standing by of course! Flat screen TV and dvd player if you want to bring movies but only local Spanish tv channels.  If you see a man in a Panama hat walking by with a white wheel barrow that is the local ice cream man. Only 50 cents for a delicious homemade cone "flavor of the day" He usually comes on Sundays. We really enjoyed our 3 month stay at UBH. We know our little girl and our little dog will miss the beach. We want you to know that we had a wonderful time at the beach house.  Everything was in order and ready for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed the hammocks, and we took walks on the beach every day.  We had planned to take some sight seeing trips, but we had such a great time we decided to just hang out at the house and enjoy the beach.  The road to town was recently paved, and it made the trips to Las Tablas quite pleasant.  The air conditioning was great in the bedrooms.  We slept with no difficulties.  We bought fresh food every day, stocked the fridge, and most days we cooked breakfast and one other meal.  We also made good use of the restaurants, especially the Brisas del Pacifico.  We also went to Mensabe and bought fish.  We met many nice neighbors, and they gave us helpful tips about the area.  We certainly would recommend your place to others, and we would come again. Sincerely, Pamela and Timothy (TEXAS)

The location goes without saying and the morning walks on the beach were a godsend. The hammock and I became good friends as well and probably the hardest to leave behind.  I really appreciate the advantage of your home. There is a little local fish restaurant right by the house. I would suggest to the renters to try it. My husband was the only one who did on our last night & regretted that we didn't do that every night. Said it was great & very inexpensive.  It's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL beach!! The beach trip was excellent, the house was incredible, comfortable, the bed sheets and towels smelled like a 5 star hotel...we also enjoyed the BBQ both nights (we left it squeaky clean :0)  Kitchen was complete, we found everything we needed...we enjoyed the hammocks...the view was awesome!
