We have four rental options to chose at Uverito Beach, Los Santos, Panama. The beach is literally at your footsteps. Our beach houses offer guests a unique layout and spectacular views up and down the coast. A large front porch or 2nd floor balcony offer plenty of space for relaxation and lounging to the sound of the ocean. Our beach houses are perfect for a romantic retreat or relaxing family getaway.
Our beach houses are only 10 minutes from Las Tablas, a quaint colonial town that is home to some of Panama's friendliest and most welcoming people and where you can control your cost of living for as little as US$1,300 a month, give or take. In Las Tablas, you will find most services to include supermarkets, medical centers, hardware stores, restaurants, and many more services. A new mall and movie theater are currently under construction.
Las Tablas is located on the east coast of the Azuero Peninsula, which is, depending on who's driving, is three to four hours' drive from Panama City. It is also located only 30 minutes from Chitre (Azuero's largest City), which has all the modern facilities and services you would find in Panama City, including an airport. Want to fish, surf, or scuba dive? The area of Pedasi is renowned for its great sport fishing, surfing, and scuba diving. Here, you’ll find miles of deserted sandy beaches and a tropical island (Isla Iguana) with extensive coral reefs. Pedasi is served by a road in very good condition, which makes it only a 20 minute ride to Pedasi from our houses at Uverito Beach.
In Las Tablas, the population is predominately local, not expat, meaning that, living here, you'd have to embrace the local Panamanian way of life. At Uverito Beach, we have a great mix of expats and locals, which makes very interesting conversations.
Our beach houses come fully furnished with all utilities, kitchen appliances, BBQ, air conditioners in all bedrooms, wireless internet, and hot water showers. Utilities included are electricity, water, and gas.
We have kept our rates reasonable and in line with other beach houses in the area. The beach houses offer so much more than staying in a hotel. We are priced for you to stay for a while. Maybe you should try us?
What's special about Uverito Beach?
Uverito Beach is the most popular beach in the area around Las Tablas, even though it is located within the nearby town of Pedasi.
The name "Uverito Beach" comes from a centenarian "uvero" tree that used to stand in the center of the beachfront until about 15 years ago. Under that tree, the people of Santo Domingo would gather to celebrate their traditional "Perote" festival, while singing tamboritos for a whole day. The “Perote” is celebrated each fifteen days during the months from August to November on the weekends.
The beach has some basic infrastructure for visitors. It is accessible by paved roads from Santo Domingo and from Las Tablas (about a 10-15 minutes drive from each one). There are a couple of popular restaurants that open on weekends and double as open air dance floors. Besides the beach there are public areas for picnics, beach volleyball court, and parking spaces. There are modest private residences, mostly owned by locals, on most of the beachfront.
Panama has numerous festivals with dancing, drinking, live music, and plenty of socializing. When you visit the Azuero Peninsula you will be amazed at the cultural enthusiasm that is present in towns like Las Tablas and Santo Domingo. Come to the Azuero Penisula to see its beaches, ocean view properties, and all the cultural events.

Our policy is to put your confirmed rental dates on our calendar as soon as you send a deposit through PayPal, money order, or personal check to hold the dates. The balance of the rent is due 30 days before the rental period begins. A 4% processing fee will be applied to all PayPal payments.
